On Wednesday, October 25, at 5 p.m., Tiina Saidla’s 70th jubilee exhibition “Pühendus” will be opened in Pärnu City Gallery’s Artists’ House, you are welcome to the exhibition opening!

The exhibition exhibits large-format autobiographical drawings about love, life and pain, which the author has divided into three series: “Beauty of Play”, “Beauty of Drama” and “Beauty of Creativity”.
The exhibition is dedicated to the artist’s important companions who have already passed away, including her good friend Kadri Mälk and Leili Kuldkepp, who was a joint teacher of both Saidla and Mälk.

Tiina Saidla (1953) is an artist and art teacher. In 1980, she graduated from the Estonian National Art Institute, majoring in metalwork.
At ERKI, she also discovered her interest in drawing, and for 12 years she worked there as a lecturer in the drawing department, later as an art teacher at Pelgulinna High School in Tallinn.
She has taught drawing and composition classes at Pärnu Art School and Pärnu German School of Technology. From 2021, Saidla calls herself a freelance pensioner.

The exhibition will remain open until November 18, 2023.

The exhibition’s talk session with the artist will take place on November 8 at 3 p.m.!
